OREF & ORSa model for success

Since being introduced in 2008, the ORS-OREF Distinguished Investigator Award has honored the work of Drs. Victor M. Goldberg, Carl T. Brighton, Henry J. Mankin, Joseph Buckwalter, Thomas A. Einhorn and Jorge O. Galante. This award celebrates the many ORS MD and PhD members who, assisted by OREF grants and awards, have advanced the science and practice of orthopaedics.

In 2010, ORS and OREF inaugurated the ORS/OREF Travel Awards in Orthopaedic Research Translation, and the two organizations plan to continue collaborating to encourage new clinician scholars.

Please help OREF and ORS continue our partnership of support for the researchers who are reshaping orthopaedics.

Support ORS through OREF today.

ORDER OF MERIT CONTRIBUTIONS

All gifts of $500 or more given by PhD members and all gifts of $1,000 or more given by MD ORS members to the OREF Annual Campaign earn Order of Merit recognition.  AAOS members giving $2,500 or more are eligible for early bird registration for Priority Housing at the AAOS Annual Meeting.  Please give generously to advance the science and practice of orthopaedics.

Donations—less than Order of Merit: up to $999.99 for MDs…up to $499.99 for PhDs

If you wish to contribute below the Order of Merit level you may designate 50% of your donation to ORS. The remaining 50% goes to OREF. For example a $400 contribution results in ORS receiving $200.

Please consider making a major gift to fund critical research today.
For more information, please contact Edward F. Hoover at hoover@oref.org or (847) 430-5105.

Note: To be acknowledged as 2015 contributions, gifts must be received no later than December 31, 2015.
