AAOS Education Enhancement Fund
The AAOS Education
Enhancement Fund was created in December 2010 to help the Academy stay
on the cutting edge of orthopaedic education, a key contributor to quality
patient care.
Our Academy
is an educational leader, the source of the broadest, deepest CME program in
orthopaedics. AAOS CME programs are known for their quality, independently
ranked among the top 5% to 8% of programs nationwide by the Accreditation
Council for Continuing Medical Education.
To maintain
that level of excellence, the AAOS Education Enhancement Fund
will help our Academy:
- Incorporate innovative
educational methods in CME
- Bring new technologies to our
Annual Meeting
- Produce high-quality enduring
materials for course attendees and the membership at large
- Expand Maintenance of
Certification (MOC) resources by developing a learning portfolio for all
Academy members to record their progress toward MOC
- Develop performance improvement
modules (PIMs)
- Support scholarships for
residents to attend Academy courses
- Expand online CME offerings
incorporating forward-looking technology to engage our learners
All Academy
members are invited to contribute to this important fund. All gifts are appreciated.
Make a contribution in any amount.
All gifts*
are appreciated and will help our Academy continue its tradition of improving surgeon
education to improve patient care. Every contribution will be acknowledged by
OREF.
To contribute securely online, click the button below. If you prefer, donate by fax or mail using the form provided.
*As part of
our agreement with OREF, our fundraising partner, a portion of each contribution
supports OREF projects. Because this is a special appeal, contributions will
not count toward Order of Merit status.
Note: To be acknowledged as 2015 contributions, gifts must be received no later than December 31, 2015.
