Thank you for your interest in OREF funding for orthopaedic research and education.  The number and type of grants and awards offered in a given year depends on available funding.

OREF Individual Grants & Awards
Support for individual investigators and educators that ranges from $2,000 for one year up to $300,000 over three years.

OREF Resident Grants & Awards
Individual and department grants and awards that encourage young investigators and educators, and offer an opportunity to sharpen skills and build relationships with colleagues and mentors.

OREF Collaborative Research Agenda
On October 24, 2013, as part of its new research program, OREF convened and engaged a group of specialty society orthopaedic partners and industry representatives to participate in the development of its first collaborative research agenda in the area of hip and knee arthroplasty. The collective work of these individuals resulted in more than 37 potential basic science, clinical and health services research questions.
